Living in Beijing has allowed me to explore its most iconic landmarks. I’m fortunate to visit these places frequently, as they each offer a unique connection to China’s history and culture. The Forbidden City, once the home of Chinese emperors, is one of my favorites. Every time I walk through its massive gates, I am reminded of the incredible history that shaped this great nation. The architectural beauty of the Forbidden City never fails to amaze me, and I always find something new to appreciate with each visit.
The Great Wall of China is another landmark that holds a special place in my heart. Whether I’m hiking along its rugged sections or taking in the views from the more restored areas, I am always in awe of its sheer scale and the determination it took to build such a structure. I love the feeling of standing on top of the Wall, looking out over the surrounding mountains, and imagining the soldiers who once guarded it centuries ago.

While the well-known attractions are undeniably impressive, I also love discovering the quieter, lesser-known parts of Beijing. I am also fond of visiting Beihai Park, a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and reflect, especially after a busy workday. The park’s beautiful lake, ancient temples, and quiet paths offer a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
